You are bidding on a black 2002 Lincoln Town Car which was originally purchased to serve as a sedan in a limousine fleet. Despite having over 300,000 miles, the car has been kept in the immaculate condition required for a luxury for-hire vehicle. There are some slight scratches, chips and dents in the paint and body, and the driver’s seat is showing wear with a small hole in the seat. All of these very minor defects and do not effect the operation of the vehicle and are the result of 9 years of use and are all easily repaired. This Town Car has many more miles and years of enjoyment left in it. Purchase for personal or business use; it’s a magnificent family car, great for trips or is ready for re-entry into the livery business. The reserve is set low, so BID NOW! History This vehicle is a four-owner Town Car; the first two owners used it in a limousine service and I purchased it in September 2010 from my father after upgraded to a newer model. We’ve had several Town Cars after they have been retired from service fleet over the years and have always had nothing but good luck with them (including ones like this one we’ve purchases used, and ones we’ve purchased new). Since purchasing the car, I have driven it daily to and from work; it’s a very reliable car. However, my needs have changed and the Town Car, while a still fantastic piece of American craftsmanship, simply doesn’t meet those needs any more. Maintenance I have recently replaced the front brakes on this car, and since I have owned it, I have performed routine maintenance every 3 months or 3,000 miles and like the first two owners did so as well--this car was maintained for luxury service. The tires have about 30k on them. One of the previous livery owners replaced the rear air-suspension airbags with springs, but this alteration has not affected the quality of the ride you expect from a Lincoln Town Car. The compressor is still in the car and the air suspension could be replaced, if so desired. An indicator light on the dash remains illuminated, warning of an issue with the air-ride suspension, but this is the only affect this alteration has had on the vehicle to date.
