Up for auction is my beloved '67 Cougar. I need a truck to do some construction on my place so I'm parting with her. I am the 3rd owner of this leak-free, accident-free cat and she's been treated very well. She's been mine for the past 3 years and have been restoring her little by little. Very strong and solid rebuilt 289. The transmission was rebuilt 40k miles ago(I have the certificate) in '06 and the 289 was rebuilt around that same time. The body as you can see is very straight although there are a couple of rust spots under the rear windows, near the rear windshield and below the rear quarter panel on both sides. I took out the points and put in electronic ignition and a hotter coil about two years ago so she packs a punch and runs great. Recently got a new radiator, power steering cylinder and shock, harmonic balancer, arm shafts and ball joints. New dual exhaust. Carb rebuild about 4K miles ago. Replaced the sequential wiring harness so all turn signals and lights function as they originally did. Recently found original replacement passenger and rear seats in great shape. The rears are flawless and the passenger is in decent shape, could use a small repair in 2 spots. The driver's seat needs a new cover and foam but the original patterns are fairly easy to find from Auto Krafters ETC. The same goes for the dash.All of the instruments and interior lights work. There are absolutely no tears in the headliner and all of the glass appears to be original. I put in an under the dash CD player and some 6x9 speakers in the back. This car is very sound and I'd feel totally comfortable taking her from LA to Seattle without worrying about a thing. Feel free to email me or call if you have any questions. John 562-313-5081
