Up for auction is a used 1989 International Dump truck. The truck is old but in great shape. This has been used as a landscape truck since day 1. The original engine was replaced in February of 2004, it now has 109,029 on it. Maintenance has been kept up over the years and we have all the paperwork. The engine is a solid 7.3L International Diesel with a Allison 454 automatic trans on it. The truck is garage kept and has no leaks. It runs perfect. Recent regular maintenance includes two new batteries, a new Alternator, a new water pump, all new fuel lines,a new muffler, and all new belts and hoses. The truck has good brakes and tires. The hydraulics all work perfect (pto driven), The truck had a full service on 9/9/2010 (all new fluids and filters and a full lube) the mileage was 108,731 for the full service. This truck has passed a DOT inspection for this year. The truck is surprisingly good on fuel. I would say about 13 miles per gallon or better. This truck isn't perfect, there are scratches and some rust on it, it could use some paint too, but mechanically it is in excellent shape. With the price of new dumps, how can you go wrong? Insurance is cheap too. The Gross vehicle weight is 24,500, That is under CDL weight so you don't need a CDL to drive this truck. This truck has hydraulic brakes, not air brakes (No CDL to drive it). The bed measures 12' x 8' and 6 tons of stone is no problem for this truck. The bed gates come down on all three sides for easy access to the dump bed. The truck has an electric brake controller and a 2 5/16 ball on the back.The cab is a crew cab and it even has a radio! The dump floor is solid with no holes in it.
