Up for sale is a PHS documented 1968 Firebird 400 HO. The car originally was verdoro green, deluxe black interior and black vinyl top (gone before I got it). It is an original California car. The original black license plates were gone and they were replaced with another set of black plates under California YOM. It still has the original YW code 400 HO engine with 16 heads. The engine was rebuilt. The pistons were dished so it can run on 91 octane.. The carb, air cleaner, transmission and rear end are not original to the car. The long branch exhaust manifolds are gone and the current exhaust system will need to be replaced. Most of the air conditioning equipment is missing. The brakes have been done all around. The front end suspension was rebuilt. The sheet metal is on the rough side. Both fenders should probably be replaced. The doors have bondo and I have some decent replacement doors that will go with the car. The driver's side quarter has some bondo on it. The tail panel is beat up around the lock area. And there is several rust holes on the passenger quarter near the rear bumper. Roof has surface rust and some pitting from the removed vinyl top. The trunk and floor pans have some surface rust and pitting but no holes. The interior needs total restoration. The vehicle is sold "as-is" Winning Bidder The winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours after the close of the auction to make payment and delivery arrangements. Deposit The winning bidder must submit a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction. PayPal is preferred, but other arrangements can be made. Payment The preferred method of payment is cashier's check (must wait to clear before pickup) or cash (US dollars only). Balance Due The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction. All funds must clear before winning buyer takes possession.
