Up for sale is a very reliable 1997 Ford Taurus GL. Great first car! Rides like new. The interior is very clean. Inexpensive to maintain. Gas mileage is 23 mpg city - 28 mpg highway. Tires have about 70% tread left. New shocks all around at 130K. The A/C does not work and I'm not sure what it needs. Recently the check engine light came on. Touble Code shows p0455 which is EVAP emissions control system leak detected (no purge flow or large leak). I replaced the gas cap, but the light is still on. I'm not sure how much this would cost to fix, but I've heard that it isn't too expensive. There is a small dent on the driver's side hood (see picture). There is rust along the driver's side rocker panel (see picture), and some at the driver's side rear wheel opening. I am not asking much for this car and know that it has given me years of reliable service with more to come. I want to be completely honest about any issues or concerns in advance. This car has no reserve and will go to the highest bidder.
