I'M SELLING THIS CAR FOR MY SISTER WHO HAD THIS RESTORED TO EXCELLENT DRIVER QUALITY. THIS CAR IS NOT A PERFECT CONCOURSE RESTORATION BUT THE STANDARDS WERE HIGH DURING THE RESTORATION. THERE WAS ALOT OF MONEY SPENT DURING THIS RESTORATION. THIS CAR HAS ALL THE TAGS- DATA TAG, DOOR TAG, VIN TAG AND THE NUMBERS ARE STAMPED IN THE APRON BODY AND PAINT THE METAL WORK WAS DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL WELDER WITH OVER 20 YEARS OF QUALITY WORK. THE PAINT WAS DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL BODYSHOP IN CAPECOD MASS THAT HAS A VERY EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF PAINTING THESE MUSTANGS. THE PAINT AND BODY WORK COST 5,000 AND THAT WAS A FAVOR FOR ME. THE METAL WORK COST 6,000 FOR THE LABOR AND METAL WORK. WHAT WAS REPLACED WAS THE QUARTERS, TAIL PANELS, OUTER WHEEL WELLS, TRUNK DROP OFFS, FABRICATED METAL WORK FOR RUST REPAIR AROUND THE DRIVERS UPPER DOOR HINGE AND PILLAR AREA(COMMON AREA). AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT NEEDED TOUCHES, WE TRIED TO SAVE AS MUCH AS THE CAR AS POSSIBLE. SOME WORK WAS DONE BEFORE I GOT THE CAR LIKE THE END SECTIONS OF THE REAR FRAME RAILS. DRIVE TRAIN THE MOTOR AND TRANNY ARE NOT ORIGINAL TO THIS CAR. THE MOTOR IS A 1969 351W THAT WAS REBUILT WITH ABOUT 2,000 MILES ON IT WHEN I GOT IT BUT IT WAS SITIING FOR ABOUT 6 YEARS. MY MECHANIC TOOK IT APART AND ADDED EDELBROCK LIFTERS, CAM, AND INTAKE SET. DOUBLE ROLLING TIMING CHAIN, HOLLY 650 4V CARB, MALLORY UNILITE DISTRIBUTOR. WHEN WE GOT THE MOTOR RUNNING THERE IS ALITTLE LIFTER NOISE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, BUT DOESNT EFFECT HOW NICE THIS MOTOR RUNS, SOUNDS, AND GENERATES POWER(JUST WANT TO BE HONEST, NO HIDDEN SUPRISES HERE). BUT I DO HAVE ANOTHER 1974 351W THAT WAS REBUILT WITH 0 MILES AND WAS TEST RUN AND RUNS EXCELLENT TOO. THIS MOTOR IS IN A CRATE AND WILL GO WITH THE CAR. THE TRANNY IS OUT OF A 1967 390 MUSTANG. THE TRANNY WAS REBUILT WITH ALL NEW SYNCROS AND NEW GEARS WERE INSTALLED ALSO(VERY EXPENSIVE). THE DRIVE SHAFRT IS A HEAVY DUTY DRIVE SHAFT(REPRODUCTION FOR A 428CJ COST 375) AND THE REAR END WAS TAKEN APART CHECKED, INSPECTED CLEANED AND NEW BEARINGS AND SEALS. INTERIOR NEW CARPET, NEW DASH PAD, NEW STEERING WHEEL, NEW DOOR PANELS, NEW SAIL PANELS, BOUGHT SEATS GENTLEMAN SAID SEATS WERE REUPHOLSTED A FEW YEARS AGO(LOOKS NEW), NEW GUAGE HOUSING. EVERYTHING WAS RESTORED OR PAINTED BACK TO NEW CONDTION WHEN RESTORATION WAS DONE.
