You are bidding on a rare 1942 Chevy 2 door sedan delivery street rod. Very few of these were built , makes for a rare piece today... This one has the body work and paint done. Engine and transmission, rear end, front etc. done. The exterior was finished just over 1 year ago professionly done using base/clear paints. many hours were spent on this car. Outside door handles removed, rear fenders and tail lights molded in. (the rear side panels were removed to install windows, seemed like a good idea at the time ??) A mid 90's Police Camaro engine, transmission and rear end were used, a Heidts, mustang II front end with 11 1/2" disc brakes. The Camaro disc brake rear end, (with new gears) and the 5.7 LT fuel injected engine and 700R4 auto. trans. make up the drive train. A new painless body wire harness was installed. With the car is the engine harness. New wheels and tires, new drive line. Specialty power widow and wiper kits also installed. VDO gauges. floor shifter, new radiator, 2 sets of buckets seats, one new set. Lots of parts including rechromed trim pieces, head and tail light trim, grill trim, new rocker trim, powder coated bumpers. two grills, new head light buckets.(see pics) Car needs finished, wiring, glass, interior etc. car will need to be trailed as it needs wiring finished to run.
