Wonderful little gas mizer here. I'll try and keep this simple for all the viewers to read without boring you with unimportant stuff. GOOD An auto check score that is almost 30 points higher than the average score found on these cars (see for yourself in the ad). Easily gets 40 MPG on the highway and 35 MPG in the city (not gonna inflate the MPG like some who count what they get going downhill with the wind to their back). No accident history. Only one owner before me!! Never been smoked in (check out the lighter in the pictures). Matching tires with very good tread on all 4. AC is ice cold and everything else functions on this car as designed (just thought the functioning AC is important to many buyers) All original. Has not been cobbled with! LSi means you get some added features like rear window wiper, rear window defroster, pinstripe and nicer OEM hubcaps. Rust free car in super shape (look at the pics...this car looks great under the doors, under the trunk lip and on the shock towers which are common rust areas for rotted out, problematic Metro's). Low mileage with plenty of life left. OEM hubcaps look almost new still, seats not worn (like most), dash not cracked (like most) and headliner not sagging (like most). Clear Tennessee title on hand; no surprises. Very fair price compared to some of the junk being offered on here. You can pay less for other Metro's but you will end up spending more :). BAD Silver paint is sun bleached (whitish color) in spots and there are a couple dings on the passenger door from a wind driven plastic shopping cart. 2 tiny dings behind driver door; 1 on hood. On an initial cold start, a puff of white smoke exits the tailpipe (valve seal) but disappears within seconds. Inside of tailpipe is very clean and dry. Knob is missing from the passenger door window crank handle ($10 part). I would say you will be hard pressed to find a nicer, better running Metro LSi than this one. We sold our 2000 Metro LSi we bought brand new through ebay a couple years ago and my wife missed it, so we patiently waited for a very nice one to surface again that was equipped with all the amenities she enjoyed. No accidents and minimal owners was important to us!! This one came available we got it but my wife fell in live with the new Hyundai Elantra's and I just bought her one so we are letting this one go. I have way too many fast toys to justify keeping this car outside as a spare, especially since my Suzuki Esteem gets 47.8 MPG. This car will easily pay for itself in 2-3 years through the money you save at the pump. You might make it happen quicker when fuel gets to $5 a gallon this fall. If you want a fabulous car, you won't be disappointed. I am not interested in any trades (I have 12 vehicles already) and I don't offer a payment plan.
