1983 Mazda B2200 Diesel I picked up this truck just over a year ago to restore and use as a commuter. I spent the last summer working on it and used it to commute in all year. The original paint was in decent shape except the previous owner had spray painted the bed so I had the truck sanded down and repainted. Very little body filler was used and the one rust hole in the lower part of the front fender was cut out with new sheet metal welded in. The truck was painted with 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of color, and 2 coats of clear. There were a few rust holes on the interior of the bed that have been patched with fiberglass and then the entire bed was coated with Herculiner to protect it from rusting again. The truck has a custom bench seat that has a lower back allowing it to slide further back thus accommodating us taller folks. The matching door panels were custom made at the same time as the seat. The truck has less than 5000 miles on the tires and new tie rod ends as well as a recent alignment. The transmission shifts smoothly through all 5 speeds and reverse works excellent. The brakes are still excellent. This truck goes down the road straight and smooth as is surprisingly powerful for a diesel pickup from this era. I consistently get 35mpg in the truck. I would be comfortable driving this truck anywhere, it has never let me down. I would keep this truck forever, but a recent divorce forces me to sell most of my vehicles in order to keep my home. Things Still on my to do List (nothing pertinent, just should be done eventually): Install new glow plugs (included) replace fuel filter (included) Extras Included: Fuel Filter Glow Plugs Summary Mechanically and physically sound pickup. I would be comfortable driving this across the country. It looks very nice and gets tons of comments. The bed is long enough to easily haul whatever you desire and the mileage in unbeatable in a pickup. This is a strong running pickup that is good to go. Delivery: I can deliver for $1.00 per mile within 250 miles of Lebanon, Oregon. I may be willing to go further, but definitely not more than 500 miles. You are welcome to pick it up. You could also drive it home as the registration is current. I would be willing to pick someone up at the Albany Bus station, or Train Station. Perhaps the airport (Portland) if the time works out.
