Up for sale is a very hard to find unrestored, unmolested 1978 Honda Civic CVCC 5 speed. I am the second owner of this car. I purchased this car from its original owner in California. This car has been in California and Texas its entire life and is virtually rust free. Original paint... amazing condition considering it is 33 years old. This car is equipped with rare luggage rack and super rare overhead console. At some point the original owner replaced the drivers front fender and the paint does not match perfectly. There is no body damage... not quite sure why the fender was replaced initially. When I purchased the car I added a Weber carbureator. I still have the original and it will be included in the sale. I recently had the seats reupholstered and I tried to match the houndstooth cloth as closely as possible. The carpet is original and could stand to be replaced but it was never a priority for me. Runs and drives great, transmission shifts smoothly. No squeeks or rattles and suspension is surprisingly tight. Car will cruise at highway speed 70 mph no problem. New tires, current registration, inspection and clear Texas title. Everything works including AM/FM radio, all lights and even the clock. The engine is quiet and idles smooth... you can barely hear it running. I realize that I will regret selling this car but I feel it is time for someone else to fully enjoy it.
