1983 Honda Nighthawk

Up for auction is my 1983 CB550SC Nighthawk in Candy Presto Red. It has $6,856 miles on it and includes many new parts. I purchased this bike out of southern Utah 2 years ago. I have owned and restored a number of these 550's and liked this one because it had very low miles. For those who don't know this model well, it was only made one year. It shares many parts with the 650's from 1983-1986 which is nice. However, its style is unique and one-year only. These 550's are relatively light, handle great, sound neat, and are fun low maintenance bikes to own. This bike is not missing anything and absolutely everything works. All the indicator lights, switches, turn signals etc. work as they should. The tool kit is complete and has the correct and original locking door. The original owner’s manual is in the bike in the correct document bag. Finally, almost all of the aluminum exterior parts have been polished. Over the last two years, I have completed the following: · NOS fuel tank and petcock · Carburetors completely rebuilt, cleaned and synchronized · NOS side covers · NOS master cylinders for clutch and brake · Clutch slave cylinder rebuilt · New Dunlop tires (about 8 months old) · New AGM battery All general maintenance such as air filter, oil, oil filter, final drive oil, and the front fork oil has been addressed recently.
