Vehicle Detail

This is a classic Honda CB360 Cruiser. It was my first and only motorcycle. I drove it for a season, and then parked it. It has much more storage time on it than any real use. This is obviously not a new bike, and it is not in new condition. This is a lot of fun to ride, and would be a easy project to bring it back to like new condition. I just have too many toys and not enough time to justify them taking up valuable shop space. This is also advertised for sale locally, so I will end the auction if I find a local buyer. I will start the bidding at $250 with no reserve. Local pick-up preferred, unless you have a plan to ship it that you would like to discuss with me. Depending on your location, I can deliver it with my truck for a reasonable price. With the following keep in mind, I'm not a professional mechanic or Honda expert. These are just my honest assessments of the bike so you know what you are bidding on. Details: Stock bike except for the pipes (good condition). 2 cylinder. Kick and electric start. Manual choke. Rack on the back. Rear fold foot pegs. Top speed of 70-75. Drives comfortably at 55-65. This would be something to have fun driving locally and save some gas. I got approximately 50 mpg. Pros: Both keys (master, and ignition only key). This bike starts easily and drives nicely. All of the lights work and are original. Original seat with no tears which can be rare for a vintage motorcycle. Cons: A slow engine oil leak. Not a large enough leak to need to be adding oil every time it's ridden, but enough to be annoying for my shop floor. It could probably be easily fixed with a new gasket. Right mirror is missing, and there is a small dent in the right side of the fuel tank. The dent would probably pound out easily as it is not a crease, and is in a flat area of the tank. Horn intermittently doesn't work. Another easy fix. Tach doesn't work. I will see if I can get the parts locally for the mirror and tach, and update this. On May-16-11 at 20:05:56 PDT, seller added the following information: This is no longer for sale local, but if you would like to look at it prior to bidding, call 260-676-4292.
