Hello, Your looking at an extremely rare ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION, ALL ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT, NEVER PAINTED SINCE IT LEFT THE FACTORY IN 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. This FJ40 ALSO has near NEW compression on it's all original F Land Cruiser Motor. Compression numbers are as follows and comes with documentation: # 1= 150 psi / # 2= 150 psi / # 3= 151 psi / # 4= 150 psi / # 5= 149 psi / # 6= 152 psi. As you may know a Land Cruiser from this period would come off the factory line with compression numbers around the 160 psi range. This cruiser starts easily and idles perfect, like new. Factory Carb in good condition. The most amazing thing about this Arizona Cruiser is the all original paint. Due to the dry envioronment of Arizona there is No Cancer Rust Anywhere on this Land Cruiser. One of the nicest originals I have ever owned. The pictures will speak for themselves. I am the 3rd owner. The first owner bought it new in Arizona. He purchased it as a soft top but immediately contacted Toyota and ordered Hard-Top and Doors which have been with the Cruiser since 1972. First owner had a ranch where the cruiser was used for hunting. After 20 years he sold it to a guy from the same area in southern Arizona. Second owner also only used it for hunting and garaged the Cruiser for 19 years during that period, always maintaining this FJ40, keeping it in superior condition. You will notice some spots along bumpers, grille and step lines that have been reinforced by previous owners with Black Rustoleum paint to prevent damage to the cruiser but again, I must emphasize, this FJ40 has NEVER been painted on the BODY. It is ALL ORIGINAL PAINT. There is NO Cancer Rust on the undercarriage either, the cruiser has never been hit, never been an an accident of any kind and again, NEVER been repainted since Factory. The interior is in all original condition also except that I painted the Cargo area a Rustoleum Black protective coat within the past 10 days. The previous owner had painted the Cargo area Rustoluem Blue and though faded was in excellent shape, NO RUST when I received the cruiser. The back jumpers seat cushions and black covers in the back cargo area have been completely restored to original condition. The back brakes have been redone within the last 50 miles, all fluids replaced and VALVES have just been adjusted. Receipts come with the Cruiser. I was told by the previous owner that the Cruiser was never driven on the Freeway for the past 20 years. This All Original Landcruiser can either be driven on a daily basis or would make an excellent candidate for a complete restoration. I chose this cruiser because of the all original condition of it combined with the all original miles and excellent, near new compression of the original F LAND CRUISER MOTOR. The Tranny, Transfer Case, Electrical and Gauges are all working properly. Just drive it and enjoy it.
