Vehicle Detail
This 2005 Ford Excursion Limited Edition is in excellent condition. Low mileage with 4 brand new towing tires. It has a couple of small divets in the hood from setting under a hickory tree and nuts fell on it. Other than that, very minor nicks that come from normal driving. One more major thing...sideswiped a van setting in our driveway...mainly transferred some paint which has been buffed off but chipped some of the finish off the fiberglass panel on the right rear over the wheel. This vehicle has: * towing package * heated front seats * power seats - both driver and passenger * 6-CD player * back-up beepers * center console for storage of CD's plus much more * side mirrors with defrost * electric brakes for trailer* the 4 brand new tires have not yet been installed... The seats can all lay flat with panels that fold out to make a solid surface so that the entire back is capable of hauling larger size items. We are the second owners...we bought it from Joe Cotton Ford in Carol Stream, Illinois, in the Spring of 2006. It had been a rental vehicle, but had less than 4000 miles on it, so it had been used very little. It has been an excellent vehicle for us...no major problems, just normal maintenance. Changed the oil every 5000 miles as recommended. We used it mainly as a towing vehicle for a travel trailer, vacations, and for getting around in the Northwest Indiana winter weather. We no longer have the travel trailer, and so we no longer need this size vehicle, though we will certainly miss the safe feel that we have when driving it, as well as the capacity to haul lots of groceries, and anything else that is over-sized.
