1985 Flying mirror Ferrari Testarossa, Miami Vice colors. I will not hesitate and say this is the finest flying mirror Testarossa in the US. 44,500 miles, fully documented since day one (1985 on). All records show 3 majors done, last of which was in 2004. This Ferrari runs perfectly with everything working as it should, no issues whatsoever. The 3 previous owners were fanatics and well known collectors. I had the car completely repainted white 2 years ago to match the Miami Vice car. It received the exact same treatment as the 2 MV TR's, going from a dark color to white total repaint. Since then it has won a Ferrari concours last fall (best in 12 cylinder class and Best Of Show). Trophies will go with the car. I have also added a full Capristo level 3 exhaust system so this car sounds better than any other Testarossa out there. Over $20K was spent on the repaint and exhaust alone. Other upgrades include 16" stock wheels (not the metric ones), chrome shift knob, all else is 100% original. The interior still smells and looks new, the leather is fantastic throughout. The AC blows ice cold, and all other functions work as they should. It has a high end CD player with new speakers. I would rate this car near 100% at any concours. The underchassis is just as clean as the body, not one drop of leak, as if the car came out of the factory last year. It needs absolutely nothing but a new owner. If you are a Miami Vice fan, this would be the ultimate toy. All books, tools, manuals, and even Miami Vice memorabilia will go with the car, along with both sets of original keys with leather keyfobs. I would welcome anyone flying in and drive it home. It will make any trip wherever you live. With that said, this car has never seen rain or any bad weather, it has always been garaged and covered. There are many TR's out there on the market, but you will not find a flying mirror car with this complete service history dating back to 1985 and constant use (which is important with TR's). I have owned 2 other later TR's and I find this one to be the most reliable and simplest to use. These cars if well maintained will go well over 200K miles unlike the later cars. No seat-belt mouse is also a big plus. Engine out service costs on this car range anywhere from $5K to $7K. I pay $600 a year for full insurance coverage with Grundy Worldwide. I can also drive it to you for a small fee, or I can help arrange for transport. The title is clean and ready to be signed over. I am not a dealer so there is no sales tax.
