1972 Alfa Romeo. . I bought the car several months ago, which reportedly recently came out of storage, with the intention of restoring it. Due to personal reasons I regretfully must sell the GTV. Since purchasing the Alfa the following work has been preformed. All the rod ends in the front steering have been replaced, the front end has been aligned, changed all the filters, completely tuned the motor, and serviced the SPICA fuel injection and brought the car to a good running and drivable condition. The fuel tank was replaced as well as fuel pump. We replaced a few gaskets, the car does not leak any oil. The transmission and clutch shift easily, the drive shaft and differential appear to be in good condition. The brakes work well but the front right is dragging a bit and needs some attention. The car was painted just before I bought it and is certainly acceptable as a driver. The front & rear seats and rear side panels and headliner were upholstered recently; the rugs are acceptable. The passenger’s side door panel was replaced however not stock: however door panels are available. All the door hinges have been replaced. The car comes with a new dash cover , however the instrument cluster is cracked. I have a set of Weber’s, a European manifold which I was planning on putting on the car and is available as an option. The wiring needs some attention as there are some wires that were disconnected. The tail and brake lights work along with one headlight on the left side, most of blinkers work, but again I think some of the non-working electronics are just disconnected. The Alfa's body, drive train and suspension appear to be structurally sound, and after inspection it does not appear that the car has been involved in any accidents. There is a rattle in the muffler. There are some minor rust issues in the floor pans and tire well all could be easily patched without replacing. The car needs some attention, not expensive work, but for someone who is willing to put in the time and effort this can be a great car. I have tried to describe the ALFA as honestly as possible.
