Up for sale is an exceptional truck from the military. I purchased this less than a year ago. It came from Fort Benning in GA with a US Govt title. Until I bought it, it had never been driven off the base. I used it to move from PA to NY last summer and put about 4k miles on it. Now that I am all settled in, I have no real use for it anymore. This is a very powerful, heavy, strong, truck. It has under 90k miles on it, and I do not believe that it has turned over, that is really low for a diesel engine like this, especially one that has been well maintained by the US Govt. It is a Real truck, unlike the newer ones that look big, but are mostly made of plastic and computer chips. Some people buy these and turn them into monster trucks because the frame is so solid. The 4 wheel drive is excellent and will get you through just about anything. Since I had it, I added a homemade dash, heavy duty towing hitch, and i also hit it with some flat black paint (when I got it, it was totally green). This would make a great work truck, towing truck, plow truck, biodiesel, or wvo project, but whatever you use it for, it will sure be an eye catcher. People stop me all of the time to ask about it because it has such unique character. There is very little rust being that it came from down south. If you do live in the north, I would recomend installing a engine block heater, it did not come with one because im sure there was no need for it in GA. I kept it in my barn all winter and drove it very little during the cold weather. The body is full of small dings and shows a well used vehicle. The small vent window was missing when I got it, with a military patch job (see picture), I never replaced it because there was no need.
