1997 Honda Valkyrie

For Sale 1997 Honda Valkyrie I am the second owner and it has 91,000 plus miles, just barely broken in,,those in the know, know this is not considered high mileage on a Valkyrie. This bike has been well taken care of and runs and drives perfectly. Bev and I didn't care for the red and white paint so I had it painted Cobalt Metallic Blue. The paint job is not a custom paint job because where you cant see the body parts its not buffed out. I had it painted by a pro painter and its slick except for like i said, where you cant see it. Things i have installed: Harley fairing off of a pre 94 Harley, I still have the OEM windshield also. Cruise Control by audiovox. A cheap set of saddle bag rails. Drivers backrest with a home made bracket, don't look bad at all. Highway pegs and Driving lights. I used the brackets from the pegs to mount the lights so you can have one or the other.right now its the lights. I have blue LED's under the tank. Baker wind wings, the tops have been trimmed to accommodate the fairing. I bought a 138 dollar trunk off of eBay and painted it cobalt blue also,,also still have the passengers back rest. luggage rack... Chrome trim on the rear fender. Hitch Doctor trailer hitch.. Truck slash cut Stacks installed over the stock mufflers with the rear baffles removable if you want to make noise. new brake pads front and rear. tires have about 2000 miles on them.. bike comes with the J&M Integrator 4 with head phones and mics and push to talk buttons. (look it up on J&M's site) this is the radio, intercom, and extra inputs for all kinds of things... heated had grips with controls. the controls are not mounted now because i don't ride in the cold. chrome reservoir covers.. The rear end is about 30,000 miles old. The dealer never greased the splines on the original one and they went south, this one is and has always been well greased..they are like new in there.. I also have a kick shifter that goes with it but not installed because i personally don't like them.. also have a cheap set of passenger floor boards that goes with it, but not installed. also has new nylon shock bushings.. The alternator was rebuilt at 50,000 miles and the commutator was trued so it should last many thousands of miles more. I also have a new set of brushes that will go with the bike.. Right off the top of my head that's about all I can think of that has been added.
