2005 BMW R1200GS GS For sale is my 2005 BMW R1200GS Motorcycle with ABS. This is a no reserve auction so the highest bidder will get the motorcycle. I will not end up the auction early. It is in excellent working conditions with no triggered alarms, electrical or mechanical problems. Everything is in fully functional condition. It comes with 2 sets of keys. It just needs a new owner. It is equipped with BMW Expandable locking side cases and heated grips. It currently has 65,885 miles (barely broken in for a BMW long-term trusted and reliable boxer twin engine design) on the odometer. The motorcycle just had a synthetic oil change and is ready to go. I have owned and enjoyed driving BMW best-selling motorcycle model for about a year; you WILL NOT BE disappointed; the best all around motorcycle. I have a clean title. I just graduated from the University of Virginia, and I will be moving out of state soon. Recent Services & Parts 1. Fresh synthetic oil change with genuine oil filter 2. Metzler Tourance Tires (front & rear) about 3,000 miles on them 3. Rear wheel carrier flange replaced with P/N:33117699631 ( 2005-2006 original wheel flanges tended to developed cracks-defective) ~2000 miles ago 4. BMW R1200GS Sealed AGM Battery ~700 miles ago 5. Left & right valve cover gaskets along with the rubber bushing and spark plugs replaced ~2000 miles ago 6. Valve adjustment, transmission fluid change & Final drive fluid change ~2000 miles ago 7. Virginia state Inspection is current. I took it today to be inspected. It passed without any issues. Added modifications 1. SW-MOTECH Rally Style upper Tank Guard Crashbar 2. SW-MOTECH Rally Style Engine Guards 3. Touratech Shift Lever 4. After market tool box case mounted behind license plate (see picture) Bad 1. BMW side case cover (paint is peeling off)-with some scrapes/scuffs –see picture 2. Minor scratch in the left valve cover-see picture Payment and Shipping Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment and pickup at that time. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end (cash, money order, personal check, or paypal). If you decided to pay the remainder balance using Paypal, you will be responsible for the 3% transaction fee that the company charges (Example: for every $1000 dollars, Paypal charges $30). Please note that the money order or check has to clear before releasing the motorcycle. If no contact is made within 24 hours. Maintenance ServiceI have received a few questions regarding any pending maintenance services. It does not need any at this time, it about 4,000 miles, the service manual recommends to check1. Valve clearance; 2. spark plugs; 3. brake pads; and I would replaced fluids (engine oil, transmission & final drive) The clutch assembly was replaced at 57,991miles. I can provide the invoice along with the detailed parts that were replaced to the new owner. The work was performed at Morton's BMW motorcycles (total cost $1,599) B. Final Drive assemblyEver since I have owned the motorcycle, I have not had any issues with the assembly, except when I noticed cracks in the wheel flange. Thus, the flange was replaced. There is no play in the rear wheel, it suggest that the gear-bearing assemblies are to specifications. In the last fluid change, there was no metal debri.
