Vehicle Detail

Condition: It just needs some cleaning as I just had it in for an all point inspection, fluids, battery charge, brakes. It could use a paint job as its been weathered. The soft top and doors need cleaning and some minor gapping around the doors could be addressed. Fiberglass body doesnt align perfectly in some places...a little gapping. Tailgate is bolted closed, but new owner could have hardware installed to make functional. One window wiper has come off, but I have it...just needs to be fixed. Runs and drives great. Brakes are a bit soft and could be adjusted. I also have a box of OEM parts, badging, spares and what nots that I will sell with the truck. Features: 1979 International Harvester Scout II with soft safari package including door scoop inserts, soft doors, soft top, fender flares, front and rear grill overlays. All fiberglass body with exception of the windshield frame and tailgate. 3in cowl induction, fiberglass hood was also added. Custom front bumper with Ramsey 8K load capacity winch. Custom rear bumper with 2in hitch receiver and two clevises D rings. Five 35in Super Swappers (50-75% of tread left depending on the tire) with fifth tire on a custom hitch mounted spear tire carrier. Rims are al aluminum 15 x 13 5.6L (just need a cleaning). Automatic transmission, 345 - V8 blueprint and balanced engine (rebuilt less than 12,000 miles ago). Replaces and fairly new 600 CFM Weber/Edelbrock carburetor professional tuned, 9mm wires, MSD Blaster coil and plugs. Fairly new 3in exhaust front to rear including nickel plated Stan’s tri-Y headers, flow master x pipe, flow master mufflers. Manuel locking 4x4 Dana 44 axles front and rear with new ring and pinion gears. Replaced Rancho 9000 shocks (7 total) two in rear, four in front, one as stabilizer. 4 inch skyjacker springs, 3 inch body lift with newer polyurethane body mounts. Replaced brake system with: master cylinder, stainless braided lines, front pads and rear shoes and rebuild kit on rear drums. New gas lines. Radio is an Alpine head unit, two pioneer 4way 6x9s, two Rockford Fosgate punch 10in subwoofers in rear box. Durabac lined interior, low maintenance, hose out interior when needed. Al exposed hardware replaced with stainless steel. Full aftermarket gauges w/ 5 in Monster Tach mounted on dash. History: I bought the truck in Canada in 2006. Put several thousand dollars into the truck which are now featured above. I have tons of receipts and documentation as to what was done. I never took the truck hardcore off roading in fear of doing damage and waring parts out. I then moved to NYC shortly after where then the truck went to my family's house in Baltimore. The truck has only been taken out a few times since 2006 and now I am moving across countey and cant take the truck with me. Shipping and Payment: Buyer is responsible for shipping. Payment is via Paypal or we can discuss other arrangments if need be. On May-05-11 at 10:53:12 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Condition: It runs great and 4WD works. Its titled and tagged in Maryland under Street Rod. This excluds it from DOT and EPA inspections as its considered and antique.
