Selling my beloved 89 Mustang GT A new baby and no time to work on my Mustang. I need to make room so I'm selling my car. This car has too much money in the motor so I'm selling the car WITHOUT the motor. Carfax report upon request!A little history: In the carfax report you will see that the car had fire damage in 1990, 3 months after the first owner bought the car. This damage destroyed the instrument cluster, dash, windshield, and managed to get under the hood. The owner told me that the car had about 4000 miles at that time. Needless to say, I needed a new speedometer and when I installed the new meter it was at all zeros. When I got the car, I stripped it down to the bare frame and repainted the entire car and had the frame checked. Once the car was painted I replaced the entire interior and all the damage under the hood with parts from a wrecked donor. I drove the car as a daily driver for about 2 years and bought another Mustang GT for daily driving while I started to turn this car into a show car for stereo competitions, as that was my job at the time. The car spent 2 years making me go deaf and was a little too heavy to have any real fun in so I spent a bunch of money fixing it up for SCCA racing. I did this for a few years until I bought an MR2. From that point on, the car has been sitting with little love or attention in the garage. My wife has been nagging me to sell it for 5 years now, and with 3 kids now, I know I will not have the time to convert it into the FFR Cobra Kit Car that I've been dreaming about for many years now. Oh well, trading one dream for another. I'm hoping this will find a good home. Many of my friends have express a desire to take it off my hands but I think it should be out of sight. The sum of the story is that the car, is no longer a daily driver and is more destine for someone looking to race it and knows what they are doing:) What the car comes with: 2 transmissions, an EAOD and a T-5 non world class (needs a rebuild and is in parts), wheels suspension, interior, all the stuff in the last sets of pictures, but NO Motor and Air Intake system.
