Street Ready, Alls she needs is a driver. This particular truck is speical because its the first year of this classic body style but also because its Fords 50th anniversary, Hallmarked by the making of this amazing truck. Very Iconic and very very Cool. The truck itself only has 65k original miles, both documented on the title as well as on the dash. Historic so it just needs new tags and its ready! none of that inspection emissions yada yada. This truck has alot put into it so let me start by saying if your looking for a project, this isnt it. 95% of the work on this truck has already been done. Just a few small odds and ends. This truck was manufactured in chicago and came from the factory with a flathead V8 (also the last year this engine was offered) and a HD trans. The HD trans and Flathead V8 is what made it an F250 rather than a F100 but everything else was exactly the same to a T, even more rare in fact because alot less of them were produced than the F100 which had the option of two tiny V6 engines as well. This truck is a Beast. A true street dream truck. This is one of the most well know trucks and crusiers out there and this could be your chance to have and enjoy with next to no effort at all. Could use new glass on the driver and pass side as well as the rear. $130. Have estimates and receipts to show. Now the goodies. This truck has a freshly rebuilt 350ci motor and a fresh 400 turbo trans. Lets start with the motor. . The motor like I said is a 350 with Brand new flat head pistons, a brand new timing chain, brand new gears, a new holley street dominator manifold, new intake, holley 480 carb, hi temp plug wires with distributor, new fuel filter, and battery. Also a new power steering pump. Yes this truck has power steering. Power brakes too w/ disks in the front. Also has a brand new exhaust system with mufflers and pipes that dump out the back behind the tires under the bed. Also has newer valve covers. This engine is wicked and sounds amazing! Next is the trans. The trans is fresh! its a 400 turbo trans that shifts like a dream and offers up plenty of power. Truck also has a 4 link rear with 12 bolt system. Yup she is loaded. New brakes in the front as well. Runs and drives like a dream just be ready to make the neighbors mad because its loud! ha ha. Like I said earlier the truck is solid and that includes the floors! This would be perfect for either a daily driver or a weekend cruiser, whichever you want really the choice is yours. Also has aftermarket gauges to go along with the beefed up motor which are already hooked up. Original dash is all wired as well just needs to be hooked back up, but as far as that thats pretty much the only "work" it needs ha ha. Notice I said it in quotes because its about as hard as watching tv on sundays. Im only looking for $5,500 for this truck which is a steal if you ask me but moneys getting low and I have bills to pay and a house to buy. Truck also has an all oak bed with finish that was done about a year or so ago. Looks great. Also has a bigger fuel system with tank to accomidate the motor. Truck is flat gunmetal gray. I like it. Gets alot of attention. Also has Radial GT tires with plenty of meat on them on WELD Racing wheels. Rears are offset with a monster lip to give it a street look. I also have some parts to go along with it, like an original 53 grille with headlight inserts, manifold etc. I think thats about it for the truck. Like I said, to get another one like this and build it to where its at would cost you alot more than what im asking.
