1958 Triumph TROPHY 650

1958 Triumph chopper. This is a hard tailed chopper I bought a year or so ago. The top end had just been rebuilt. I used to show off how a bike this old would start on the first kick. The generator went out so I put in the garage till I could get around to fixing it. After a few months of being in the garage it lost spark. I haven't done much to check why yet. The magneto does turn and it appears that the points are opening and closing. I don't know much about magnetos so I'm not going to guess what might be wrong. A brand new Joe hunt mag sells for $699. This bike has a antique Eveready flashlight that had been converted to a tail light and a BUNCH of other custom parts. It also has the very rare spring in hub rear wheel with a new tire. The front wheel is a new is a 21" spool hub with a new tire as well. The pipes in the picture have been replaced. I have a clear title in my name for this bike. I also have a Haynes repair manual that will be included with the bike. The gas tank was just creamed Bike is for sale localy so I reserve the right to end auction early
