1980 Ford Fairmont Futura Sport Coupe One Owner Here we have a really good looking 1980 Ford Fairmont Futura, Black & Silver with Red Interior. Has the factory mags & sunroof !! Those are not hubcaps, they are real alloy wheels. Let the pictures do the talking, the car is beautiful. It has the 6 cylinder engine which runs great, and it runs and drives like a dream and the automatic transmission shifts flawlessly. It cranks up reliably everytime and runs smooth and quiet. This car would make a really good collectors item for someone or even make a daily driver out of it. Something you sure don't see everyday. These cars were built on the ford fox platform, so many mustang parts interchange. The car has been kept up and maintained very well to be 31 years old but it is not a restored car. It has its little imperfections, dinks here and there, and some chipping paint, peels, etc. All the plastic filler panels, like around the bumpers, are in great shape and have no cracks. It has an AM FM Cassette radio which works, but the volume is quiet, and I haven't tested the cassette player on it. Horn, headlights, heater, wipers etc all work. This is a factory A/C delete car. The drivers side window sometimes needs a little help rolling up. The sunroof has been siliconed shut and the silicone doesn't look good. I cleaned the car up a little but there are some spots of tree sap which need cleaned off. I checked, and it will come off with some goo gone. The seats are all original and have some tears on it in places, see photos. The carpet is coming unraveled on the passenger side and the sill plate there is broken off as well as some of the other plastic around the door. The interior overall is in really good shape for its age except for those things I mentioned. Like I said before the car runs and drives very very good, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to Atlanta or Charlotte from here, but keep in mind it is a 31 year old car that has been in storage. The car will leak a spot of oil, but nothing drastic. The oil looks good and clean on the dipstick as does the transmission fluid and the brake fluid looks like new. The wheels are alloy and have absolutely no curb rash at all. The tires are old but have just ok tread. I have the title in hand of the original owner, signed over and ready to title in the new owners name. This is a no-reserve auction, meaning the high bidder takes it. This car is sold as-is with no warranty from a private individual, not a dealer. Any shipping, if desired, would need to be arranged and paid for by the winning bidder.
