1956 Ford Big Window Truck that is in good condition but still needs work to complete. I picked this truck up from a guy who didn't finish the truck so I can only tell you what I know. This truck is all Ford Running Gear!!!!! Body: Paint is GM Velocity Yellow (Corvette Color), Paint is Nice But there are a few places that will need attention. Paint is not that old. The drivers door needs to be repaired (please look at pic). The rest of the paint is nice but not Perfect, I can see a few light scratches and some bubble rough areas. Still looks good for a driver!!!! I have left off the SS Trim off the door so it can be installed if you repair the paint on door. Still needs Door seals and Door Glass. I have talked to guy who painted it and very little rust on this truck before painting a couple of years ago. No rust issues on roof. It just sat at shop outside. New Front Windshield, New Rubber Seals Ft & Back. New Tailgate I just put a Piece of Oak Ply wood on in the bed (just sitting there). Inside bed sides and tailgate have Rino liner on it. Nice look and durable, Hood hinges need replaced or new springs (seems like all f100 have this problem) Hood wont stay up on it own! Nice Chrome Bumper(original) Interior: Dash has been Smoothed for that Nice Clean look!!!! Has New Upholstery on Seat and Door Panel, Kick Panels. Done In New Black Tweed!! Nice Clean Look!! Still needs Headliner, and Carpet!! to complete interior. after market gauges work under dash (but has original in chrome cluster not working) Has Telescopic, Tilt Steering Column (Caddy) wheel needs replaced cracked but usable. Has VERY Nice Powdercoated Stock 15' Wheels and repo Trim, and Center caps. Tire size is BFG 235/60R15" New Mustang Gas Tank in Rear under bed between frame rails. Engine: It is a 351 Cleveland with C-6, and Ford 9". Here is the deal on this I put a New Starter, Fuel Pump, had the Holley Carb rebuilt. I did get to Start buts thats about it. From what I understand this truck had been sitting a few years before the painter got it and I tried to get running with only being able to run at high rpms. It does Run just not good!!!! It wont idle and I do NOT Know the condition of the Motor. It cannot be driven home would need to be trailered. Wiring needs attention I would replace with kit. I have Not Driven the truck so It is still a work in Progress, a Project Truck But a lot of the work has been done!! Just need to work on engine or put the one you have been saving in and go!!! Frame: Frame is all Stock except for Power Steering Box was put on and it looks to be old Ford truck box. Looks like they welded a plate then mounted box. (not the best way in my opinion). But works, Frame can use some cleaning!!!! You can tell it been sitting and needs exhaust rusty. I Don't know alot about the truck so am telling you what little I can about it. It is not bad and cant be seen unless you look down on inside inspection plate opening. I am getting alot of people asking what the reserve is and I Totaly Understand but just want to be fair with the people bidding and would not like to disclose the reserve.
