Up for auction is a FACTORY Original 1965 Mustang GT A-Code Fastback with Deluxe Interior. This car is a great and solid car. This *will be* a beautiful show winning car when done. The body is in very solid condition and has already had new floorpans put in. The car is ready for restoration and comes with most all original parts. It has a CLEAR Washington State Title. This has the GT Fog light switch hole in the dash. It still has the correct wiring for the GT Lamps in the dash. It has the dual exhaust hangers under the rear seat. It has the support in the rear frame of car for dual exhaust. It comes with disc front brakes and the original C5 GT Grille. The VIN also falls under the date code of 65 Mustang GTs with a 781xxx consecutive number. The original; doortag, doors with courtesy light holes, wood grain wheel and GT door trim all come with the car. There is NO FAKING this to be a non-GT, non Deluxe Interior car.... this is the REAL DEAL. Those that know me and my car collection, know the level and rarity of cars I buy. The previous owner bought the car as a red car. He stripped the car down and started all the work you see here in the pictures. New floopans, smoothing out the quarter panels and doors. Fixing dings and dents in fenders. The car has a metal sealer on the car now. It has been sitting in a heated garage since I have owned it. The car will be a BEAUTIFUL car when done. (The car is obviously not driveable.) Those that know Mustangs, let me tell you, you will not find a fixer upper in this good of condition with the GT and Deluxe package like this. For those of you that collect the magazines, this car will look EXACTLY like the car on the cover and highlighted article of the April, 2005 Mustang Monthly magazine, when restored correctly even the interior is the same code.
