Selling my truck, used extensively in the last two years while remodeling my house, this truck is in rough cosmetic condition, but reasonable to good mechanical condition. I got it from a friend who had it for 5-6 years prior to me. 1993 Ford F-250 HD 2WD, 4.9 liter stright six engine, lots of torque. 5 speed manual transmission with granny gear. 240,000 miles. Runs strong, shifts smoothly. Engine runs strong, leaks a little oil from pushrod cover gasket, but has not needed additional oil between changes. Coolant runs a little hot in the height of the Summer, but has never overheated on me. Dual fuel tanks, front is inside bed rails, both tanks have had fuel cycled through them regularly. Body is rough, but very usable. Rust in all the usual places, wheelarches and cab corners etc. Frame is solid. Worst rust is driver side cab corner, where seatbelt anchor has separated. Needs bottom of seatbelt to be reattached somehow. Floor pan to the rear of the door area is rusted on the driver side. Recent work, in last 5000 miles....... new tires with 90%+ tread life, E-rated Yokohama Geolander AT/S, great tire, $600 new. New Bosch remanufactured starter motor ($180), new battery ground cables, new solenoid, all new brake lines, master cylinder, rear cylinders and spring kit (re-installed drums and shoes). New steering track rods and alignment. New wiper motor. New cap and rotor. Previously, my friend replaced the battery, thermostat, and installed a new power steering pump. Known issues...... front right caliper sticks sometimes, did not fix yet, can usually be cleared by squeezing the pedal hard. Bad washer motor, have replacement, did not install - washer motor is hot wired to switch on dash. Driver seatbelt requires anchoring at bottom end. Stereo is missing. No hitch. Basically, a strong running truck. Won't win any beauty contests. Great as a work truck / garbage hauler. Thanks for looking. Cash or PayPal only please.
