1966 Cadillac Calais Hardtop Sedan (lower trim package but body & drivetrain same as DeVille) lowrider project car. Not a hopper, set-up strictly for cruising. Looks cool as heck cruising the streets hugging the asphalt. I have had this car about 10 years and never had the time or money to do what I wanted with it, so it's time to go. The photos make it look better than it actually does up close. The Candy Green paint job is cracking and peeling all over the place, some chips and scratches. My friends joke that it has one of those "30 foot paint jobs", looks good from 30 feet away. Touched up with the wrong color spray paint. Never put all of the trim on hoping to get it repainted. There are alot of trim pieces not installed, I have many parts but I'm sure some will be needed. Passenger rear door is damaged from accident but I have a spare door that came from Arizona. 20" 100 spoke chinese knock off rims with low profile tires that are worn and leak and will need to be replaced. 2 pump, 4 dump, 4 battery hydraulic system with 10 switches. Switch box is broken. Interior was in the process of being switched over to black, not complete, other interior work is needed. Weatherstrip is all dry rotted. Body is in good shape for the year. Passenger front fender has some bubbles towards bottom, under the paint. Has manual sliding ragtop sunroof, interior headliner needs to be done. I have lots of trim pieces, 2 sets of skirts, green dash top, etc., etc. 429ci motor runs but does burn oil and needs points/distributor work. Never got around to upgrading the points to electronic ones. Does run OK good enough for cruising around town. Front suspension is loose and worn. I recommend towing to your destination to be sure it makes it without problems. I have a bushing kit somewhere I will have to find. Hydraulics work fine and were on the car when I got it, not a pro job. 4 new batteries last year, Street Charger charges batteries while driving, trunk needs cleaning up. Lots more to talk about to serious buyer. Hate to see it go, but it's worse not seeing anything done to it. Please contact me with any questions.
