Vehicle Detail

Take a good look at pics. You will not find a rusty nut or bolt on this bike. Petcocks are left on all the time and no gas leakage all over the cases. This bike does not; i rdepeat does not mark its spot on my garage floor. You do not have to tickle carb to start this bike. Usually starts first kick and never more than 3. To start bike you just turn on key and do not touch throttle and kick it. Idles great right away. Let the bike idle for about 1/2 minute and away you go. Bike has battery elimunator and aftermarket voltage regulator that works great. If you live in a state where headlight must run all the time you will need to turn the idle up some. I have the idle set as far down as it will go because I really like the sound and feel when the bike is barely turning over. You must also turn off headlight b4 starting bike as no battery. It would be very easy to add back battery system but this system starts and runs so well I wouldnt. When I got bike from previous owner he had owned it almost 3 years and could never get it to do more than idle. Of course this was timing advance stuck. I cleaned the advance system replaced one of the weights and both springs and ureka no more problem. The other things I have done to bike since owning other than replace fluids and clean points are as follows; Bike had no speedo wheni got it and I found a speedo and mount off 71 tr6r and installed that therefore mileage shown. Also put new rubbers on pegs, shifter, and kicker. Tires are Chang shung and have less than 500 miles. I know they are not original Dunlops but I have had good success in the past with this brand at about 3/4 the price of Dunlops. The bike will cruise down the highway at 70-75 with ease. For a drum brake the front is excellent. The rear brake is typical Triumph. It will lock up if pushed hard but really not enough weight on rear for it to be really useful by itself. There is no tac but a working drive is there. Headlight, tailight ,brake light work. Paint on tank and filter covers of course is not original. Inside of tank was lined sometime in the past. All in all this is a clean, easy starting, excellent running bike. If you live 5 miles or 500 miles away you could actually ride this bike home. Bike is currently registered, insured, and titled in my name. I have several bikes and only get to ride this Triumph couple times a week. It deserves better than that so I am selling to fund another bike. THIS BIKE IS BEING SOLD W/NO RESERVE SO HIGH BIDDER GETS IT. IF YOU HAVE 0 OR LESS THAN 95% FEEDBACK YOU MUST CONTACT ME B4 BIDDING. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE PAYMENT AND SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS. One other thing there is some bubbling of chrome on chain guard. Nothing peeling yet. Rest of chrome on bike is very very good to excellent.
