Up for Bid! This is a beautiful 1969 Pontiac Tempest Custom GTO/Clone Convertible! The car is my daily driver and runs and drives beautifully! The car performs excellent and has dual exhaust and sounds great as well. The car has a power top, power brakes, and power steering. The car has what appears to be the original motor that is a 350 V-8 that runs excellent does not burn oil, and does not smoke. The motor has a 4 barrel carb and this car is FAST! The transmission is an automatic on the column that shifts excellent with no problems. The odometer shows 35800 I would imagine that the car has 135800 but who knows? Could be original. The car has been restored about 11 years ago and is still holding up well. Still has a nice shine and gets the thumbs up everywhere! The steering is still nice and tight and not a loosey goosey performs well on the freeway. Has very nice premium wheels and tires. Has nice interior with bucket seats, The power top works excellent. All the lights, all the blinkers work good. All the gauges seem to work great as well. The car has good tags and is currently registered. I have a clean title in hand as well. This convertible really is nice but this car is not a show car. The top is quite nice with no tears although one seem on the back window came undone a little bit. easily fixable. The car is very straight with no dents. The car is also very solid with minimal rust. The car has solid rockers, solid floor pans, solid frame, solid trunk, and only has a some rust bubbling on the lower part of the driver side rear quarter, and a spot on the rear trunk lid, very small and not very noticable. All the chrome is in great shape with no pitting. All the glass is in excellent shape. Car has a nice cd player with nice speakers, very nice wood grain GT grant steering wheel. The paint was done right and a good paint job although there are lil chips, a few scratches, and lil imperfections here and there. The car has been garaged since restoration and is a super nice Driver! I really hate to sell this car! I wanted to make it a show car and enjoy for the rest of my life but the car has to be sold due to moving out of state. This is one of the nicest body styles of the Convertible Pontiacs in the best era of cars ever made in my opinion! Every time I drive this car I get the thumbs up and people just rubber necking and drooling over this car! This is going to be one exciting auction! RESERVE PRICED TO SELL!
