Took this truck as partial trade on my Yamaha. This is what I know for sure about vehicle. Has 360 v8 that starts right up and goes down the road ok. Transmission shifts ok. 4X4 system works. Has new 33" Super Swampers and wheels with less than 100 miles. Has fairly new Holley 2 barrel carb, alternator, fuel pump, and water pump. Has quadra-trac 4x4 with knob inside glove box that locks all 4 wheels. Sign in glovebox says"Caution lock-out for emergency only. Engage only when vehiicle becomes immobile due to spinning of one or more wheels. De-activate lockout as soon as emergency is over." The only rust on truck is small amount in bed seam and one 1 1/2" hole in bed at front of left wheel well. Took pics. Truck has small dents all over. Not accident dents but looks as if used off road. Paint is an amateur job. Had to show mileage but only 5 didgit odometer and not sure if correct. Brakes need work as you have to pump them up b4 stopping. Do not know what the problem is. Gas guage does not work. Signal lights do not work but all other lights work including markers. All glass is good with no chips. Air conditioner compressor is missing but all lines there. Truck does not start in park but you have to pull the shift lever down toward neutral b4 starter engages. Horn does not work. Wipers do. Radio oiginal am does not work. That is all I know for sure about truck. I have two other trucks and a boat in my drive and have no room for this full size truck. I know someone is going to ask me if they can drive this truck 500 miles home. Would the truck make it, I think so. but the brakes have to be pumped to stop and if someone stops dead in front of you chances are you will hit them, So i would plan on towing or trailering. THIS IS NO JOKE. NO RESERVE. NO PAYPAL. THIS IS A RELIST DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER. TO GIVE BIDDER CREDIT HE SHOWED UP NEXT DAY AFTER AUCTION END. FIRST STATEMENT WAS TRUCK HAD DENTS. SHOWED HIM THE AD ON MY COMPUTER AND ASKED IF HE COULD SHOW ME ONE DENT THAT DIDNT SHOW UP IN PICS. WHEN HE ASKED WHERE THE A/C COMPRESSOR WAS EVEN THOUGH AD SAID IT WASNT THERE I KNEW I WAS DEALING WITH AN IDIOT. TRUCK WAS PARKED UP AGAINST THE FENCE SO HE ASKED ME IF I COULD PULL IT OUT SO HE COULD SEE OTHER SIDE. I DID THIS EVEN THOUGH THE GUY WAS BEGINNING TO PEE ME OFF. I TAKE PRIDE IN THE FACT THAT IF I LIST SOMETHING ON EBAY I TRY TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING I KNOW AND SHOW PLENTY OF PICS. ANYWAY FOR ABOUT 5 MIN. OF HIM NITPICKING ABOUT THINGS I HAD ALREADY SHOWED ON EBAY I TOLD THE GUY HE WAS AN A HOLE AND TO EITHER PAY FOR THE TRUCK OR HIT THE STREET. HE DID FIND TWO THINGS THAT I HADNT NOTICED. UNDERNEATH TRUCK. THE MUFFLER ALTHOUGH LOOKS NEW HAS NO PIPE EXTENDING TO REAR OF TRUCK. THERE IS PIECE OF WOOD UNDER ONE OF THE STRAPS OF THE GAS TANK. THIS IS A 1979 TRUCK THAT HAS BEEN USED. IT IS NOT NEW. tRUCK HAS SOME PROBLEMS THAT I EXPLAIN ABOVE. THIS GUY WOULD PROBABLY HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK BUT TO BE TOTALLY HONEST I DISLIKED HIM AS SOON AS HE OPENED HIS MOUTH AND DIDNT GET ANY BETTER. ONE OF THOSE GUYS THAT LIKES TO PUT EVERYTHING DOWN B4 HE BUYS IT WHICH DOESNT WORK WITH ME. CHECK MY FEEDBACK I TRY TO BE HONEST IN MY EBAY DEALINGS. BUT IF YOU COME WITH AN ATTITUDE EXPECT TO GET MUCH MORE BACK. I DO NOT NEED MONEY SO BAD I WILL TAKE CRAP.
