1978 Honda CB

This unbelievable survivor was covered in a California garage for many many years. I bought it from the original owner about five years ago. It has 3,518 original miles on it. It is one of the nicest originals I’ve seen. It still has the original tires, paint, exhaust etc. As you can see in the pictures, the factory yellow paint markings are still on the bolts. I added a new battery and had the carburetors cleaned and adjusted by Old School Carbs here in San Jose. It runs great. When warmed up, the choke can be pushed all the way off, unlike so many CB750s. It’s a blast to ride, kind of like driving a Cadillac. It looks, sounds and feels like the early single cam CB750 that it is. The only unfortunate issue is the mufflers. They look new and shiny with great chrome unless you bend over and look under them where they rusted on the bottom, common for a bike that sat so long. I had them welded and they are working fine but if you are going for concourse, they would need to be replaced. The reserve is set low. I also have a Vetter fairing that was dealer installed. I removed it but will include it if the buyer wants it. This motorcycle is sold “as is” with no warranty. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. I will assist where I can.
