1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II You have just found an extremely clean Silver Shadow II with 37,859 original miles. The Silver Shadow was produced from 1965 to 1976 and the Silver Shadow II from 1977 to 1980. The Silver Shadow II featured a 189 hp 6.75 L V8 in 1978 and a GM Turbo 400 transmission. The current owner purchased it from Steve Foley Rolls Royce (the only Rolls dealer in IL) in 2006. The car had been freshly reconditioned and was in perfect mechanical condition. It has since been service by Steve Foley R.R. on a regular basis and everything that has been suggested has been taken care of with cost not being a concern. In fact almost 7 thousand dollars has been spent on dealer suggested services in the last 4 years with the most recent service being on 07/08/10 (receipts available). Not only is it in tip top mechanical shape but it is 100% original and unrestored. The interior has held up incredibly well with very minimal signs of wear. The exterior has held up incredibly as well with the only concern being some minor checking in the paint and the usual paint chips from having had been driven.
