This is an all original MG Midget that has not been altered. Well kept, rust free Florida/Georgia car, garage kept. The mileage is accurate and runs perfect. This year I have replaced the following, new tires (165-80-13) new wheel cylinders new calipers new rubber brake lines new brake master cylinder new rear leaf springs rebuilt rear shocks and links new tie rod ends new sway arm bushings new CV boots new water pump new radiator hoses new battery rebuilt original Stromberg carb new plugs, cap, rotor and plug wires new air, fuel and oil filters new heater hoses and clamps new wiper blades new radiator cap The interior is tear and damage free, the dash, carpet and seats are perfect. All emblems, glass, convertible top and chrome are good along with lights and lenses. All electrical works great. I drove the car two weeks ago to and from Atlanta Georgia/South Florida. No problems. The body is straight, slight rock dings, normal paint wear, small edge rust spots from salt air (nothing all the way through). To the passerby, the car looks very nice. To the perfectionist, you can find small projects if desired. Installed is a smaller steering wheel, the original goes with the car and is perfect, the smaller wheel makes it easier for some folks to get in and out! The clutch and brake pads are at 50% and will need to be replaced by next year if the car is used alot. The rotors and drums are very good. I now have a rock chip (pinhead size), it looks superficial in the windshield, in Florida we can replace it for free with insurance, but not with the original XXX Triplex glass, so I will not be changing it. I will leave it up to the buyer, if you are from Florida, no worries, if not I can have it done before transport under my insurance. I also found two bad wheel studs (one on each front wheel) take that into consideration also. To replace it is $15 for 2 from the B-Hive in S. Carolina. This does not prohibit the car from driving in the least, just needs to be done at some point. I also found new rear wheel bearings in my garage I bought a while back which I will include, never did them, they seem fine. At the time to replace the brake pads and shoes would be good timing for that and I also have a clutch master and slave cylinder rebuild kits for it when the clutch is due.
