For sale is a 1997 GMC Suburban sport utility vehicle with railgear. This unit is in good overall condition and is equipped with Fairmont/Harsco 0307A Hy-Rail equipment with rubber covered guide wheels and includes an operating bar. The Suburban has a V8 gas engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, rear heat and A/C, AM/FM radio with CD and tape player, cloth interior, third row seat, light bar and strobe light package, running boards and is wired for a railroad radio with an external speaker (not included in sale). It has a 190 amp Powerline alternator as well as bumper mounted connections for jumper cables. In addition, this unit is equipped with a fire extinquisher, first aid kit, 1200 watt power inverter, full size matching spare tire/rim and much more! The truck runs and drives well, however it will require annual FRA railgear certification prior to being used on the rails. The Suburban has a newly installed starter, alternator regulator and wiper motor. The hy-rail gear is in excellent condition with a newly installed bearing assembly on the front drivers side. The sale also includes spare parts for the light bar system. The vehicle is being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranties expressed or implied.
