I am selling my 1990 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign with 103,272 miles! The first thing that needs to be pointed out is that the car does start and idle good! However, when driving the car and applying the gas it has a 5 second pause before it will go. Also when applying the break the cars rpm drops low. I have been told that this is caused by a bad MAP Sensor. I personally do not want to invest anymore money into the car which is why I am selling it. The other issue is that I do have the original title from when I purchased the car two years ago. When I went to the DMV they denied issuing a new title to me because they said "It had been modified." I personally never did anything to it but they would not issue a new title. I found out that it is possible to obtain a new title in the buyers name by filling out the title recover form. I have all the necessary paperwork which I will give to the buyer to get a new title. I am also going to include the original title and a notarized bill of sale! The car will start right up however like I said it does need some work to get it running good. The interior on the car is in absolutly amazing condition! There are no rips in the leather and the carpet on the floor looks like the day it was bought! The dashboard and middle consol are both in great shape! Everything electrical (Power Lock, Windows, Seats, Sunroof, Ect.) in the car all work great and have no problems! The tunk opener and gas opener both work great with no problems! The radio is saying code which I do not have however I was told the dealer can issue a code. This is from the battery being disconnected! As for the exterior it is in decent condition. All the lights work including the Front, Rear, Break, Side, Fog, and High Beams! There is a dent in the rear passenger side door. It has bee popped out however you can still see it on the bottom. The trunk lid and roof have wear (flaking and white spots) on the paint. The car did sit around but most of the gas was removed prior. I added 10 fresh gallons of premium gas and an additive before starting it up! The tires still have decent tred on them and the spare is a brand new tire never used! The car was never registered because of the title issue therefore, the winning bidder will either have to get the car towed or some other form of transporting it. I can provided you with a company if needed. Also I know U-haul rents out car trailers for around $40.00 which can be used to transport the car. All sales are final! On Apr-25-11 at 18:48:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I WOULD LIKE TO ADD!!!! I have been running the car the past few days and took it out for a drive twice. Both times the throttle response was perfect and when applying the breaks the idle did NOT change! I do not think that it is a MAP sensor issue. The car still needs a little work to get it going perfect but the throttle response has been good. I did add fuel injector cleaner which has made a great difference!
