This is a 1999 Nissan Quest. Gold exterior, grey interior with 4 bucket seats and one bench seat. Middle 2 bucket seats can be removed and rear bench has two different positions it can be moved to or folded up behind front 2 seats to increase cargo area. The van has been garaged for most of its life. It has a few minor scratches and two rust areas on the rear of the tailgate that has been patched and rusting areas on the bottom of the cargo doors. There is a small bent area on the nose of the hood which does not effect closing or opening. The tires are 2 seasons old with good tread and still pass state inspection. The motor was replaced April 15 2005 and currently has 75,886 miles on it. I have all of the paperwork. All original floormats are in the vehicle as well as a Thule roof rack. I am the original owner. There are a few problem areas on the van. June of 2010 while my son was driving it started slowing until he finally pulled over. He shut the car off and was unable to start it. After waiting 1 hour it restarted and ran normally. One week later after driving to a few stops he wasn't able to start it until he again waited an hour. I took it to a local automotive shop (I have the paperwork) and they kept the car for a month but were never able to get the car to not start. It has run normally since that time. The resistor for the fan is blown and only high speed operates. The fan also squeals occasionally. (of course when I take it to the shop it doesn't). There were two rust spot areas low on the tailgate. One was a hole and the other was pitting. I sanded and filled in the hole and smoothed out the pitting. The power steering pump makes noise but it always functions well. The tach doesn't move past 1. When the motor was installed I didn't notice this for quite awhile and the shop wanted to charge me to fix the problem. I didn't bother. There is a very slow oil leak under the engine, usually resulting in small drop. I add part of a quart every 4 months or so. I have the owner's manuals and all paperwork for work done on the van.
