FOR SALE! 1956 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster Washington, NC 252-916-4367 Beautifully restored Eye-popping Red/White color combination Silky smooth 283 V-8 engine 4-Speed manual transmission New aluminum radiator Front disc brakes Coker wide white-wall tires Drive anywhere Clear NC title with no liens Link to video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wErJYZIQ33U&feature=player_detailpage Here's your chance to own a true American classic. This beautifully restored '56 roadster is one of the nicest first-generation Corvettes you'll find in the Southeast. And it runs as good as it looks. No trailer queen, this car is driven regularly -- including an annual 400-mile roundtrip excursion to Myrtle Beach, S.C. The smooth-running 283 V-8 rumbles through the exhaust, making music with each gear shift. Turns heads wherever it goes. I've owned the car about six years, driving it at least weekly and maintaining it with Royal Purple synthetic oil. The previous owner had recently completed a restoration and was meticulous about keeping the car's look original. For example, the dual exhaust exits properly out the rear fenders and the tachometer works off the generator. The seats and door panels are dimpled correctly. All the doors and gaps line up like they should. Upgrades to improve the car's drivability include front disk brakes and an aluminum radiator, plus a small-diameter steering wheel that makes getting in and out of the driver's seat a snap. This classic would remain with me if not for circumstances that require me to make room in my garage for my father's '55 roadster. So my loss is your gain. At $46,000, my asking price is intended for a quick sale. Sorry, not much wiggle room there. My hope is that the car will go to someone who appreciates it and drives it as much as I have. Call me to set up a showing. Thanks for looking! Washington, NC 252-916-4367
