Vehicle Detail

Up for auction. Pulled from the shed. 1963 Buick Skylark Convertible. This car was sold at an insurance auction about 10 years ago. The obvious reason was the right rear damage. It was then purchased and stored under cover. At that time the front chrome and some misc. interior pieces were pulled. It was later moved to a shed and stored for the last 5 years. The car is mostly there. It appears to only have surface rust, has spent most of its known time in California, if not its whole life on the West Coast. The white paint has been repainted a few times. The interior looks to have had some work done. The car when purchased in 2001 from the insurance auction ran and drove. It sat for about 5 years and was started and drove to be moved. It has not been started or driven the last 5-6 years. The only numbers or stamps I could see on the V8 engine is JM 743, S308 381 stamped on the right head. It has a 2 barrel carburetor. The vin or identification plates that I can find are as follows. Left door A-pillar reads,. 3 J2523386. Under the hood identification plate reads, O/A Stylae 63-4367, Body BC, Trim 149TOP1, Paint RR, 1290, ACC. The car is mostly there. The car was obviously hit hard in the right rear but looks mostly complete. It appears that the top part of the dash was removed. All the glass are in the doors except the right rear quarter window. It was probably broken in the accident. When you open the hood everything appears to be there with the exception of the blower motor. Most of the unbolt front items are gone. No grill, headlights, the bumper is damaged. The paperwork that we have for transfer is a bill of sale. There is no title and believed to be a salvage title if ever re-registered. I am trying to clear out the shed and do not know a whole lot about this car. If there is any questions, or if you need me to check anything please let me know. My email address is ranchomurietagolfer@hotmail.com. This may be a good project for someone or it may be what you need to repair a car you have. Winning bidder is responsible for picking up vehicle in Wilton, CA 95693. Good Luck, Ryan
