2005 Honda Rubicon 500

2003 Honda Rubicon 500, 4x4 with electronic shift. I picked this quad up from a local honda shop that closed recently. I really don't know the history on it, but this is what i know. The good: Brand new battery 4/17/11, half a crank and it runs like a champ. Engine sounds good, transmission and drive axles seem to be in working order. Drop it in gear and she takes right off. Decent set of Kenda tires on it. All the lights and gauges are working. All plastic is in decent shape, no major cracks or obvious damage aside from trail scratches The Bad: This quad is kinda beat up. It has a tear in the seat, the gauge face is scratched up and the back of the gauge thing is broken, had to zip tie it to hold it place. The wheels have some dents and rock rash, but the only tire leaking is the right front and its very slow, it probly just needs plugged. Front Bumper is damaged, see pic. The D1, D2, and ESP lamps flash on the dash and the quad kinda spits and sputters when in reverse, i've been told it's probably an angle sensor which is relatively cheap. As far as that goes i do not know why it does this and really have no way to tell. This quad is sold as is where is. You are welcome to come check it out before you buy it. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I did not receive a title with it and doubt it ever had one, not required on atv's in WV.
