Updated 4.20: due to a death in the family I will not be available to show this vehicle until (hopefully) Monday morning a few hours before the auction ends which means it is almost certain to sell here I was asked about the accident reported by eBay's information - whatever it was happened many years before I purchased the truck last year and I have no information about it Thanks ------ 1997 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab 2WD 2.3 Liter 4 Cylinder / 5 Speed Manual Transmission I purchased this pickup from McDonald Mazda (this added to my confidence because in my experience large dealers auction off inferior vehicles rather than sell them) in Littleton on 12.27.2010 because I needed to move stuff from Colorado to Arkansas and I no longer need it - it has hauled me back and forth several times with NO issues Clear Colorado title The Good: Uses no oil No leaks Transmission smooth Clutch tight Smooth quiet ride New oil, oil filter and air filter No rust as this has been a Colorado vehicle Very respectable gas mileage if you keep your foot out of it - it has averaged about 25 MPG with my conservative driving style Carpet decent Includes rubber bed liner The Middling: One new tire mounted on the original alloy wheel currently kept as a spare The other four tires are in average condition but I elected not to replace the three to match the new one because the new owner might have preferences - you can end up with a matched set of (4) mounted for less than $300: contact Discount Tire and request a quote on (3) SA4 215/70 R14 tires The Not As Good: Several dings in the body - see pictures There is a small chip in the windshield which has not grown since I purchased it Seat is worn - see pictures Armrest deal is twisted a bit Power Steering pump whined when I bought it and it still whines after 7000 additional miles even though it works fine - presumably someday you'll need to replace it Dome light doesn't turn off - I don't have a clue why so I leave the bulb out Summary: cosmetically less than perfect but a mechanically sound truck which gets pretty good gas mileage while providing a comparatively smooth and quiet ride This is listed locally but if it doesn’t sell it will sell here to the highest bidder $300.00 non-refundable PayPal deposit due within 24 hours of auction end with remainder due when vehicle changes hands no later than 4 days after auction ends - this will be a CASH only transaction - thank you for understanding Please contact me (cell phone 479.366.6363) with any questions and thanks for checking out my auction!
