Vehicle Detail

The time has come to let this one go. This car is every definition of the word BUILT. I have kept EXTENSIVE records of all modifications in an excel spreadsheet that tracks price, as well as the date and mileage the mod was installed. I also have paper copies of various invoices, as well as alignment data for the front/rear (crucial for no-wheel hop). I will provide this to the buyer if desired. However, let me know if you would like information on when a particular part was installed if I did not mention it below. Click the link below for an extensive library of pictures. http://picasaweb.google.com/imprezars01/ForSale?authkey=Gv1sRgCMDm5_z1iMGgTQ&feat=directlink Click the link below for my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/imprezars01 2004 Mach 1 VIN: 1FAFP42R44F242176 45k miles 558 whp @ 15 psi Overall history: I am the 2nd owner, purchasing the car from a FL Carmax with 13k miles back in 06/2005 (I can provide Carfax report from this time). I started with the usual bolt-ons and in 02/2007 I had the motor built to prepare for an HP twin turbo install. In 05/2007, I personally installed the HP TT kit along with the necessary upgrades to handle it (air/fuel); it was tuned by Excessive Motorsports. During a tuning session for more boost, the wastegates never opened and it popped a head gasket due to an incorrectly plumbed boost controller solenoid (my fault). An inspection of the block during teardown found no issues. In 03/2009, I got rid of the HP TT kit (plagued with drainback issues) and replaced it with the F1A (tuned by Jon Lund). The only thing "wrong" with the car relates to the MAF sensor. Procharger mounts it after a 90deg elbow and the air turbulence caused by this elbow may cause the car to shut off at speeds above 30mph if you are the type of person who likes to throw it in neutral and coast. This issue is very common with blow-thru setups. It's a simple fix to move the MAF to the engine bay, but I do not have the time to do this prior to selling. Oil is changed every 3k miles or every 4-6 months, whichever comes first. I use either Mobil 1 or Castrol 5w-30 with a Mobil 1 filter. The car has been garage kept since around 35k miles (10/2007) and has stayed out of the rain unless I am caught in it. I do not intentionally drive it in the rain. I DO NOT beat on the car by any means. It has NEVER seen the drag strip since I have owned it …this is FACT. I never had the itch. This was built for the open track as you will see (which it also never saw, nor did it see auto-x). I spent so much time working out the kinks of the TT setup that the interest in partaking in open-track faded.
