Vehicle Detail

It's time for my first motorcycle to go! This is my 1973 Honda CL350. I bought it about a year and a half ago and I have really enjoyed riding it! I am selling this so I can get a bigger bike for longer rides (BMW GS650F). The bike runs well and has a lot of great features about it. Within the last 1,500 miles, I have had a new battery put in, the carbs cleaned, both ignition cables replaced, and had it gone over from head to two by George at Motorrad located on the Hill. I have the reciepts and records from the bike from me and the previous owner. The tires are in great shape, the gas tank has been sealed, I changed the oil within the last 400 miles, and had it repanted (good this time). I have put a lot of money in this bike so I don't expect any surprises. The battery dies at about every hundred and twenty miles or so, so I just keep it on a trickle charger and I don't take it on really long drives because of that. I have read that is a common issue with the 350. The bike has an electric start and a kick start that both work. The odometor reads 9,000 miles, but the actual engine in it that has around 15,000 miles on it. The bike drives good and can cruise on the highway with no problem. I just took it for a spin and it started up and drove well. It backfires a little bit when I let off the gas and I am not sure what that is though. The other day, it bogged down a bit when I rode it but when I took it out five minutes ago, and it did not do it. I figured that happened because I had not started it in a couple of weeks. I have had it up to eighty with no issues. The bike has a great sound to it. There are a couple small holes in the exhaust pipe around the muffler so the sound is a bit louder than normal. One other thing; the bike fell over and the mirror broke out of the socket. I have a temporary clamp on that the mirror is in, so it works but it's just not quite how it should be.I did buy the replacement part for it, but I am not very comfortable with wiring and I will include it with the bike. Also, the light on the speedo does not work. I have a little light that I clamp on so I can see my speed at night. I want to be as honest as I can so that there are no surprises for the buyer. It really is a shame to have to sell this bike. Everywhere I go people come up to talk to me about it and tell me how much they love it! I was parked illegally once and a cop came up to me and when I thought I was getting in trouble, he just wanted to talk about my bike!
