1997 BMW 528iRear Wheel Drive / Automatic Transmission / 26MPG / 216,000 MilesThese pictures are of the actual vehicle and were taken recently. This was my daily driver. It ran and drove like a dream. I had someone come out and test drive the car and it began to overheat. I'm quite sure the engine needs a head gasket. There isn't any loss of power at all in the engine. I tried swapping out the thermostat, bleeding the coolant system, etc. but it still wants to start to overheat after about 15 minutes of driving. The wipers don't work. Not sure if it's the motor or the relay. I tried cleaning the relay a few times. Nothing happened. The transmission has always performed without flaw. The car starts up instantly still. I just don't recommend driving it any further than up on to a flatbed tow truck. It has minor cosmetic flaws in the body. The rear bumper has a small hole in it on the far left side. The left side belt molding has been removed but is included. The left side does have minor scrapes. The main damage is the left rear door. It still opens and closes like new. The skin of the door is just a little wavy. There is a small dent to the left of the license plate on the decklid. ALL OF THESE FLAWS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES. Factory sound system and it is AMAZING. You have to hear it. I've never heard such high quality sound. The vehicle has newer brakes all around. Maintenance has always been kept up on. This car looks good. Starts instantly. Runs smooth and quiet. The main issue with the car mechanically is that it wants to overheat after about 15 minutes.
