This is an 1985 FJ60 converted into a diesel, HJ61. I started with a rust free 60 and found an '86 Toyota 12HT direct injected turbo diesel. The engine has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom, OEM parts. Nothing from China. The transmission was originally a 4 spd, but has been removed for a new Toyota H55 5 spd. The truck was repainted to Toyota factory color code 1G3 Magnetic Gray Metallic , which is offered on the new 7th Generation Land Cruiser. All details are below, this truck has been reassembled from the ground up and has been in quality Toyota specialists' hands at Atlanta Custom Creations (ACC Toyota) since day 1 of project inception. '85 60 series -Disassembled and repainted to Magnetic Gray Metallic (1G3) -12HT turbo diesel, plumbed with Viton fuel lines to accept Bio blends -h55 5 spd transmission -4:11 open front, ARB air locked rear -1.5 Gal on board air compressor (Puma) mounted in rear corner -4" Australian Ironman 4x4 suspension lift -40 Gal diesel fuel tank -Safari Snorkel -Australian side mirrors -Indash inclinometer/altimeter -5 Cooper Discoverer S/T D Load (350 miles) -Custom Rock Sliders/Step Rail -Custom swing away tire carrier/ rear bumper -ARB front bumper -Warn 10,000 winch -Toyota OEM sliding rear windows -Custom Front and Rear Door Weather Strip Upgrade -Toyota Celica leather bucket front seats -62 series rear bench seat with headrests -Tuffy lockable center console -Cobra 75WXST handheld CB/Weather radio -Firestik Dual CB/Radio antenna -InDash Recessed Isspro Pyrometer -Jensen Heavy Duty CD/Radio/Sirius/Weather radio -Custom Powder Coating on engine, head, fuel lines, etc. Everything else on the truck not mentioned, such as brakes or transfer case has either been rebuilt or replaced. The truck has just had a fluid change and has approximately 400 miles on it, including engine, tires, transmission. PLEASE READ: 1. If you are unfamiliar with Toyota diesel engines or specifically the 12HT, take 15 minutes and educate yourself before asking questions. Google or another search engine works beautifully.2. It's a Land "Cruiser" not a Land Speeder. It's not going to outrun anything on the road except another 'Cruiser, so please don't get the impression that you'll be hauling ass. Count on being in the right lane.3. Hasn't been dyno tested and will not be. The engine was just rebuilt to factory specs. It's not like I tuned it for power so don't ask.4. The truck was built for far and away travel both on and off road. Yes it is street legal, which is why there's a license plate on the back.5. Won't do trade-ins and I won't finance it. Get your $hit together if you're serious, it's not my problem to get you into this truck.6. I can do without the hot air blowing so please spare the comments like "I'm a serious contender for this rig" or "Consider it sold"(you know who you are, douche bag).
