For your consideration and just in time for summer is this beautiful 1955 Chevy. Definitely not one of the stuffy museum cars that you'll be afraid to drive. This beauty is very driver friendly and gets thumbs up everywhere she goes. Powered by a road hungry 350 and backed by a Muncie 4 speed with Hurst comp. + shifter, this classic is fun to drive and is sure to attract onlookers. Body is very nice with a very nice driver quality paint job. Interior is in good shape but could use a little work to be really nice. I am including brand new carpet fitted for the car and a new windshield if you want it due to a couple of small scratches in the current one. Frame, trunk and floor are very nice (floors have been repaired in the past). Overall this is a GREAT car that is ready to drive. The reserve is set to sell it so only bid if you're ready to buy!!!!! On Apr-10-11 at 08:30:35 PDT, seller added the following information:After numerous inquiries about the car, I am adding some additional details but feel free to keep the questions coming... The Chevy has its original positraction rear end. The after market radio you see in the video works and was manufactured to fit into original opening. Trunk does have a rubber mat, spare tire and jack that are not shown in pics. Rust repairs were made to the front floor pans with "patch plates" from the inside. Lights and signals work properly. Car has been newly wired. Again this is not a show car but a very nice driver and is available for you to view at anytime during this auction. Just contact me and I will accommodate.
