Up for bid is an 89 E-250 work van, 4.9L engine, automatic, blue, with shelves, drawers, and a workbench inside. Carpeted, good tires, good brakes, runs good, new battery, has had a lot of work done to it over the years. I drove it everyday till the A/C stopped working in the summer of 08 and then it failed inspection (exhaust leak*) so I parked it. It has 270,000 miles and it is also setup for pulling a large trailer. Class IV Hitch and Integrated Electric Brake Controller. It would still make a decent work van. It can carry a lot of weight. It has the usual quirks for a vehicle of its age and mileage, but nothing drastic. For the money I think it is a good deal. Oh - and it could use a good bath after sitting for three years... LOL *The exhaust leak... There was an airtube that goes from the airpump to the catalytic converter. It broke off. It is no longer needed so the hole just needs to be plugged. Also someone told me the exhaust manifold might have a crack, so a brand new one in the box is included with the van.
