This Thunderbird has both the Convertible top and the Hardtop for your selection and driving excitement. This car is in superb condition with only 9100 miles. The Thunderbird has been kept in immaculate condition and with the best of everything. It has always been garage kept, has every option and all documents along with all of the special Neiman Marcus books (books 2 thru 5) and specific items. It has the carrier for the hardtop when removed from the car and every item is in pristine condition. This is a one owner Thunderbird, a true collector car that is completely documented and in excellent condition. A little bit about the Ford Thunderbird Neiman Marcus Edition: Article written in Portholeauthority website: On August 18, 2000 Ford presented a very special limited edition of the new Thunderbird to the public at the Pebble Beach Concours - the Neiman Marcus Edition. This model is Evening Black (UA) with a Satin Silver (TL) metallic top; interior is black with silver accents including the seat insert sections. Thunderbird logo is on seat backs. Special vehicle ID # (64) and unique model logos. Floor mats & instrument panel have the NM logo. Portholes have Thunderbird logo in center, hood scoop has a chrome bezel. Wheels are the chromed version of the standard deluxe wheel - 21 spoke. Orders for the limited edition model (200) were taken on September 25, 2000 thru the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog and were sold out in 2 hours and 15 minutes - a record for any auto sold thru the Neiman Marcus catalog. Cost to lucky owners was the catalog price of $41,995. Cars were shipped to the dealer of their choice. This edition was finally delivered to owners in late September, early October, 2001. VIN#'s are in the block series 100026 to 100225 body style code 64 These are the only N.M. editions made and sold. This is the only model that has had etched Thunderbird emblems in the portholes. Ford announced it would offer 200 uniquely designed Neiman Marcus Edition Thunderbirds exclusively through the specialty retailer's new "Christmas Book." "The Ford Thunderbird is one of the most treasured automotive nameplates in history," said J Mays, Ford Motor Company's vice president of Design. "The 2002 Thunderbird is sure to be prized by collectors and car enthusiasts everywhere. With the Neiman Marcus Edition, we wanted to create a very special, very limited number of cars that would stand out as the most cherished of the new Thunderbirds." The Neiman Marcus Edition Thunderbird, on sale later this year, stands out with a number of one-of-a-kind design elements setting it apart from other 2002 Thunderbirds. The car features a black body finish with a removable silver top, creating a striking, elegant style for the modern dream car. The removable top is highlighted with the Thunderbird insignia etched into the porthole glass. Chrome 17-inch wheels match the A-pillar. The hood scoop is adorned with trim accents and a chrome bezel. The Black and Silver theme is carried through to the interior. The steering wheel and shift knob are painted silver to match the exterior roof and accent colors. The lower door panel is silver to match the aluminum molding and inserts on the padded instrument panel. The seats contain a perforated, silver leather insert surrounded by black leather. The Ford Thunderbird Neiman Marcus cars were built as a limited production of 200 total units. As noted in the Portholeauthority article above the “VIN#'s are in the block series 100026 to 100225” this is car number 100037, a very low number. This Thunderbird has all of the described items in showroom condition. The Evening Black exterior paint is clean with no damage or paint work. The black and silver leather is clean with no rips or tears and the carpet is also without damage. There is almost no wear evident on the driver seat and none showing on the passenger seat. The Satin Silver Hardtop is in excellent condition with no damage. The exterior is in great condition with a fantastic shine. This is a non smoker, garage kept Thunderbird. The rims are Neiman Marcus chrome with no damage and the tires are in excellent condition with substantial tread all around. The Thunderbird has never been damaged, the only repair it has had is a new A/C System replaced by Ford. As stated earlier, all manuals, carriers, and Neiman Marcus documents (Books 2 thru 5) are included. The Neiman Marcus floor mats are in excellent condition and all other special emblems are clean and correct. Fuel economy is 17 city/23 highway mpg. This Neiman Marcus Thunderbird is likely the lowest number and miles unit available and is in every way as remarkable as it is shown and described. 2002 Thunderbird Neiman Marcus Special Edition
This auction is for an exceptional 2002 Ford Thunderbird Neiman Marcus Special Edition Convertible. This Thunderbird has both the Convertible top and the Hardtop for your selection and driving excitement. This car is in superb condition with only 9100 miles. On August 18, 2000 Ford presented a very special limited edition of the new Thunderbird to the public at the Pebble Beach Concours - the Neiman Marcus Edition. This model is Evening Black (UA) with a Satin Silver (TL) metallic top; interior is black with silver accents including the seat insert sections. Thunderbird logo is on seat backs. Special vehicle ID # (64) and unique model logos. Floor mats & instrument panel have the NM logo. Portholes have Thunderbird logo in center, hood scoop has a chrome bezel. Wheels are the chromed version of the standard deluxe wheel - 21 spoke.
Orders for the limited edition model (200) were taken on September 25, 2000 thru the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog and were sold out in 2 hours and 15 minutes - a record for any auto sold thru the Neiman Marcus catalog. Cost to lucky owners was the catalog price of $41,995. Cars were shipped to the dealer of their choice.
This edition was finally delivered to owners in late September, early October, 2001.
VIN#'s are in the block series 100026 to 100225 body style code 64 These are the only N.M. editions made and sold.
This is the only model that has had etched Thunderbird emblems in the portholes.

Ford Unveils Neiman Marcus Edition Thunderbird
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif., Aug.18, 2000 - Dressed in a formal design for a very special occasion, the 2002 Ford Thunderbird makes its official debut at the 50th Annual Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach. Ford announced it would offer 200 uniquely designed Neiman Marcus Edition Thunderbirds exclusively through the specialty retailer's new "Christmas Book."
"The Ford Thunderbird is one of the most treasured automotive nameplates in history," said J Mays, Ford Motor Company's vice president of Design. "The 2002 Thunderbird is sure to be prized by collectors and car enthusiasts everywhere. With the Neiman Marcus Edition, we wanted to create a very special, very limited number of cars that would stand out as the most cherished of the new Thunderbirds."
The Neiman Marcus Edition Thunderbird, on sale later this year, stands out with a number of one-of-a-kind design elements setting it apart from other 2002 Thunderbirds. The car features a black body finish with a removable silver top, creating a striking, elegant style for the modern dream car. The removable top is highlighted with the Thunderbird insignia etched into the porthole glass. Chrome 17-inch wheels match the A-pillar. The hood scoop is adorned with trim accents and a chrome bezel.
The Black and Silver theme is carried through to the interior. The steering wheel and shift knob are painted silver to match the exterior roof and accent colors. The lower door panel is silver to match the aluminum molding and inserts on the padded instrument panel. The seats contain a perforated, silver leather insert surrounded by black leather.
Understated Neiman Marcus badges are featured on the instrument panel and floor mats. The Thunderbird badge is embossed on the seat backs.

The Ford Thunderbird Neiman Marcus cars were built as a limited production of 200 total units. This Thunderbird has all of the described items in showroom condition.
The Evening Black exterior paint is clean with no damage or paint work. The black and silver leather is clean with no rips or tears and the carpet is also without damage. There is almost no wear evident on the driver seat and none showing on the passenger seat. The Satin Silver Hardtop is in excellent condition with no damage. The exterior is in great condition with a fantastic shine. This is a non smoker, garage kept Thunderbird. The rims are Neiman Marcus chrome with no damage and the tires are in excellent condition with substantial tread all around. The Thunderbird has never been damaged, the only repair it has had is a new A/C System replaced by Ford. As stated earlier, all manuals, carriers, and Neiman Marcus documents (Books 2 thru 5) are included. The Neiman Marcus floor mats are in excellent condition and all other special emblems are clean and correct. Fuel economy is 17 city/23 highway mpg.
