Vehicle Detail
Enjoy this rare opportunity to own a stunning 1977 Fiat Spider 124. Nicknamed “Francesca”, this 1800cc car is dual overhead cam complete. With only 67,500 original miles and a flawless body, you’ll be sure to turn heads this summer on the Pacific Coastal Highway or in Europe. Ready to drive. Included are aluminum mag wheels, a Chilton’s repair manual, and a new convertible top. Mocha latte included. Happy motoring! Contrary to popular belief all of the parts on this car are very easy to find via International Auto Parts' site on the web. There are very reputable mechanics in all metropolitan areas specializing in Spiders at fair labor rates. For even catastrophic repairs, such as engine or transmission failure, there are good replacements via the likes of Auto-Italia for $300-400 here on Ebay. That said, Francesca runs and drives just fine so nothing to worry about there. Mechanically a strong car. If you’ve never owned a little convertible before you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the "community” you encounter on the open road. Lots of waves, lots of smiles, and the occasional conversation and friendship. Note: I've located a shipper to send to Berlin and/or most European destinations for $1750. In the US, shipping from coast to coast is generally $1000 and for shorter distances and/or major hubs, less than that. For Shipping quotes, I will be dropping the car off to ship out of the Port of San Francisco for overseas destinations. Schumacher Cargo seems very responsive in providing quotes and I see that Ebay has some partnerships in place here to under the shipping links. It will be put into a shipping container, and well cared for. Within the states, I will drive it to the shipping terminal of your choice in either San Francisco or Oakland. I've found very reasonable shipping arrangements and quotes at Uship. Any questions, let me know. Thanks and good luck! You'll love the car. - Ben 415.342.9547
