Vehicle Detail

I am selling yet another Allante out of my collection. These cars always seem to find their way to my driveway and this one is the next one to go as I have purchased one of the elusive Polo Green 1992 Allantes to be my driver for this coming spring and summer. Its a Pearl White/Black 1991 Allante with approximately 113,000 miles. The current reading is 112,970 miles but that will increase as I am still driving the car around town. After selling my 38,000 mile Allante, I decided that this one was going to be my daily driver for this coming spring/summer (before I found the Polo Green '92) so I did the following repairs/maintenance items to the car: *oil/filter change *new front brake pads/rotors *brake fluid flush *new catalytic converter *new radiator *new oil pan gasket *new RF wheel hub *8 new fuel injectors I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things but that's just about the gist of the recent maintenance that's been performed. This car also comes with an extensive service history. It was a "vacation" car in Michigan, and then a daily driver in Florida until I bought it. The good: *The paintwork and leather is almost flawless for a 113k mile car. No kidding. The rear bumper does have some sort of horizontal "rub" on the lower part that's photographed. *Radio and A/C work. A/C was completely overhauled and converted to R134a in 2007. *No DIC codes *newer tires The bad: *The leather binding on the floor mats show some minor wear. *The dash corners have the usual heat induced peeling. This has been present in every Allante I've owned. *The indoor rear view mirror is desilvering *The DIC information panel has some blown/bleeding pixels (photographed) Overall, this is a very good five-footer and would make a great classy and reliable summer driver for someone. The car was involved in two very minor accidents. Both of them were when the first owner owned the car in Michigan. The first accident was when the car slid into a guardrail. There was very minor damage as it only required paintwork. The second accident was from when the Bosch III ABS system failed. It was at very low speed and the bumper, grill, and headlamps were replaced. The hood is original and my mechanic inspected the airbag and stated that it is the original airbag and that the steering wheel cavity shows no evidence of an airbag inflating. The entire braking system was replaced by the dealer at a cost of $3000 after that accident. Due to age and mileage, the car is being sold as-is where-is.
